Eko Hot Blog reports that Rhodes-Vivour, a known supporter of Peter Obi, stated that although he respects the decisions of those moving to a new platform, he and his team have decided to stay back and continue their political journey within the ADC.

His position comes amid recent developments that saw Obi move from the ADC to the Nigerian Democratic Congress, alongside reports linking him with Rabiu Kwankwaso as a potential running mate ahead of the 2027 elections. The shift has triggered a wave of defections from the ADC to the NDC.
Despite the growing momentum, Rhodes-Vivour said his decision is rooted in his commitment to the broader goal of building a better Nigeria, regardless of political differences.

He acknowledged that such decisions are not easy, noting that while political allies may take different paths, they are still united by a shared vision for the country.
For him, however, the path forward remains clear stay with the ADC and continue the struggle from within.
