The delegation, which includes the movement’s Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, and Director-General Francis Oluwatosin Shola, was received by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
The Governor praised the group for their organizational discipline, noting that the emergence of such structured youth advocacy signals that Nigeria’s future is in capable hands.
He highlighted the movement’s role in promoting government policies and grassroots empowerment as a shift toward more impactful political participation by young people.
Governor Okpebholo also took the opportunity to commend President Bola Tinubu for his “bold and decisive” leadership, specifically citing the removal of the fuel subsidy as a necessary step for economic stability that previous administrations avoided.

He noted that Edo State remains a critical hub for national political engagement and expressed his full confidence in the President’s direction for the country.
As a youth-driven advocacy group, the City Boy Movement continues to focus on promoting the Renewed Hope agenda through nationwide tours, campus visits, and community support initiatives like food drives.
