Coronation: Nollywood Actress Becomes Queen Mother Of Uke Kingdom
- Adebayo, Dikeh attend Sotayogaga’s coronation as Queen Mother
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Tayo Sobola aka Sotayo Gaga has been crowned the new Sarauniya (Queen Mother) of Uke Kingdom Nasarawa state at a well-attended ceremony.
Sobola was crowned by the Emir of Uke Kingdom, Alhaji Abdullah Hassan, for her passion for woman empowerment and enlightenment.

The event was graced by top socialites, T-pumpy, lawmakers, and crème de la crème in the society, amongst others.

In her speech, the excited actress thanked the people of Uke for deeming it fit to give such a huge responsibility and honor to her.
“As the Queen mother, the palace would now begin to see the impact of women in decision making amongst others.”
Explaining the role and why Sotayo’s emergence is important, the Emir HRM Abdullah Hassan disclosed that his father’s twin sister was the first queen Mother in 1970 and since her demise, no individual has emerged a Queen Mother until Sotayo’s coronation.
In his congratulatory message to the actress, the Emir congratulated her as the youngest among the Sarauniya in the northern Emirates.
