Covid-19: Cubana’s Night Club Shut Down By Lagos Govt

Social media influencer, Cubana Chiefpriest’s Night club in Ikeja was sealed off by The Lagos State Safety Commission, over violation of state government’s recent Covid-19 lockdown rule.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the seal off of Cubana’s night club “Pablo Cubana” night took place last night, Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Recently, the Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday, December 10 placed a ban on concerts, street carnivals, and nightclubs as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Nigeria is currently experiencing a second wave of the pandemic and so the numbers of confirmed cases of the virus are currently skyrocketing.
And so, last night, a team from the Lagos State Safety Commission led by the Lagos state commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, stormed the Ikeja GRA facility of Cubana grills and shut down the facility for hosting its customers despite the ban recently placed on night clubs.
