Authorities reported that Nwanze reached speeds exceeding 100 mph, ran multiple red lights, and collided with several vehicles before being apprehended and charged with dangerous driving and operating a vehicle without insurance or a valid licence.
In a separate ruling in Scotland, the High Court in Edinburgh sentenced 26-year-old Osarenkhoe Atutie to seven and a half years in prison for the attempted murder of his estranged wife, Victory Atutie.
Court proceedings revealed that Atutie tracked his wife down in November 2025 and inflicted 12 stab wounds before being disarmed by bystanders. Alongside his custodial sentence, he was handed a lifetime non-harassment order.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old student Anderson Ishiekwene was handed a three-year sentence after arranging to meet who he believed was a 14-year-old girl at a shopping centre in Washington, England.
Ishiekwene, who entered the UK on a student visa in August 2025, was intercepted by an online decoy group, resulting in his conviction, placement on the sex offenders register, and pending deportation upon sentence completion.
