- Dangote Refinery Cuts Petrol Depot Price By ₦25.
- PMS gantry price dropped from ₦799 to ₦774 per litre.
- Refinery ended lifting bonus as market stabilisation continues.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex depot price of Premium Motor Spirit by ₦25, lowering the gantry price from ₦799 to ₦774 per litre.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the new price took effect on Tuesday and was communicated to oil marketers in an official notice issued by the refinery’s Group Commercial Operations Department.

“This is to notify you of a change in our PMS gantry price from ₦799 per litre to ₦774 per litre,” the notice stated.
Dangote also announced the end of its PMS lifting bonus, a temporary incentive introduced earlier in the month to encourage volume purchases.
“Please note that the PMS lifting bonus ended at 12:00 a.m. on 10th February 2026.
“The corresponding credit for volumes loaded from 2nd to 10th February 2026, within the stipulated volume thresholds earlier communicated, will be posted to your account statement,” the refinery said.
Industry analysts said the combined move signals a shift away from promotional volume based pricing towards a more stable, market driven structure.
The adjustment comes amid continued volatility in the downstream sector following the Federal Government’s full deregulation of petrol pricing and the removal of fuel subsidies in 2023.
Throughout 2025, ex depot prices fluctuated between ₦700 and ₦800 per litre, influenced by exchange rate movements, global crude oil prices and supply constraints.
The commencement of operations at the 650,000 barrels per day Dangote refinery in the fourth quarter of 2025 significantly improved local supply, helping to ease distribution pressures and moderate pricing trends, particularly in southern Nigeria.
Earlier in 2026, the refinery had raised its gantry price to ₦799 per litre after selling petrol at ₦699 during the festive season.

The new ₦774 rate suggests easing cost pressures, improved operational efficiency and rising competition from imported cargoes and modular refineries.
