According to a statement on Sunday, this is aimed at expanding delivery capacity and improving fuel access across Nigeria.
The refinery said the distribution offer is open to a broad range of users, including fuel marketers, petrol station owners, manufacturers, telecom companies, aviation operators, and other large-scale consumers.
It further revealed plans to set up daughter booster CNG stations and operate a dedicated fleet of over 100 gas-powered tankers to support fuel logistics.

“Dangote Petroleum Refinery is pleased to announce the commencement of a significant national initiative designed to transform Nigeria’s fuel distribution landscape.
“Effective 15th of August 2025, the refinery will begin the distribution of Premium Motor Spirit and diesel to marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecoms firms, aviation, and other large users across the country, with free logistics to boost the distribution network.
“This strategic programme is part of our broader commitment to eliminating logistics costs, enhancing energy efficiency, promoting sustainability and supporting Nigeria’s economic development.”
The refinery noted that the initiative includes logistics support such as free delivery, which is aimed at removing supply bottlenecks and lowering operational costs in vital sectors of the economy.
Meanwhile, a credit scheme for bulk buyers purchasing 500,000 litres and above is also included to revive idle filling stations, ease inflation, and stimulate small business growth.
The President of the Dangote Group and founder of the refinery, Aliko Dangote,, previously hinted at a major shake-up in the country’s downstream oil sector.
“This is not about price reduction,” he said, “but the complete overhaul of the downstream sector,” during a recent interview following President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the $20 billion refinery in Lekki, Lagos.
