Mr. Emeka Okeke, Group Chief Executive Officer of MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria, said the programme aims to contribute positively to society by encouraging students to pursue meaningful career paths.
“Our goal is simple: catch them young and show them a path,” Okeke said.
“Dentsu Nigeria has a long history of supporting education, and we believe it’s our responsibility to inspire and empower students to explore the vast world of marketing and advertising.”
The firm recently hosted a mentorship session at Army Children Secondary School, Ikeja, where students were introduced to four core career paths in the industry: Digital, Creative, Core Media, and Finance.
Okeke said the session created an engaging platform for Dentsu professionals to demystify the advertising world and provide students with real-world guidance.
Facilitators shared practical tips and insights, giving students a clearer picture of the industry.
One standout session focused on Digital Marketing, led by Wilfred Emmanuel, Senior Digital Performance Manager at Dentsu Performance Nigeria.
“The students were particularly energised by the digital marketing session,” Okeke said. “Wilfred explained how data and technology shape modern marketing, and it clearly sparked their interest.”
Mr. Kelani Mustapha, Human Resource Manager at MediaFuse-Dentsu Nigeria, described the programme as part of a broader commitment to nurturing future talent.

He added that the company would follow up the school sessions by inviting selected students to agency immersion experiences, where they can observe the inner workings of a marketing firm.
