Drake Takes A Break From Music To Focus On Health

Eko Hot Blog reports that popular Canadian-American Rapper, Drake, has announced a brief break from the music industry to focus on his health. The ‘God’s Plan’ crooner said “I need to focus on my health first and foremost”.

Drake made this announcement just few hours after the release of his new album, For All The Dogs. He added that he has had stomach issues for years.

“I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest,” he said on Friday on his radio show.

This will, in the long run, halt the several upcoming performances slated for the future.

“Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.”

“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit,” Drake said on his SiriusXM programme, Table For One.

“I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer.”

Few hours after the radio show announcement, he later posted a clip from the radio programme on Instagram, informing his 143 million followers: “See ya when I see ya.”

However, his Toronto concerts  due Friday and Saturday nights will not be affected as reported, except for shows scheduled afterwards which have been postponed as stated on his website.
