Egypt Recovers Bodies Of 87 Citizens Killed In Libya

Eko Hot Blog reports that Egyptian government has recovered the bodies of 87 of its citizens who were killed in the recent floods in Libya. The bodies were repatriated by the Egyptian military and were buried in their respective towns in Egypt.

The floods were caused by Storm Daniel, a powerful Mediterranean cyclone that made landfall in Libya on September 8. The storm caused widespread flooding and damage, and at least 130 people were killed.

Libya hosts a large number of Egyptian migrants, who often cross the land border into the eastern part of the country. The eastern region was one of the hardest hit by the floods.

The Egyptian government has expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and has pledged to provide them with assistance. The government has also said that it will take steps to prevent such tragedies from happening in the future.
