Alhaji Seyyid, who traveled to Nigeria all the way from Texas in the United States of America, was welcomed with excitement and cheers by the esteemed members and distinguished administrators of JIAMM.

The celebration was held at Paddington Mini Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, on Sunday, September 15, 2025. Members of JIAMM within Surulere and across other communities in Lagos came together to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W.).
JIAMM is an Islamic community of faithful and committed Muslims, established to promote and propagate Islam through outreach missions, goodwill messages, and transformative teachings from the Holy Quran, as well as donations to the cause of Islam.

Esteemed members of JIAMM came together to commemorate the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and remember his teachings on humility, trustworthiness, and the virtues of life.
It was a moment of deep reflection and solemn lecture, as the guest lecturer of the day, Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Araokanmi Alminteeq (A.A.), delivered a rich lecture on the theme “Trustworthiness: A Forgotten Trait of the Believer.”

Alhaji Seyyid had an in-depth session of discussion about the significance of the Maulid Nabiy celebration.
“We must accept that Allah is supreme and the greatest and also see Him as your Lord, creator, provider, and protector.” He said.

“Islam is a religion of reality and peace. There is none that deserves to be worshiped except Allah…” He added.
Furthermore, Alhaji Seyiyid stressed that Allah requires true worship and commitment from all faithful Muslims to be worthy of His protections and blessings.

“Also, we must live in a way that pleases Him, by leading a humble life devoid of arrogance and pride.” He stressed.
“… a lot of people today are clothed in arrogance and pride today, and that is the major reason why God destroys people…”
“Whether we like it or not, we will all return to Him and be held accountable for how we lived our lives here on earth.” He concluded.
