We are committed to ensuring that no child is left out in celebrating the season, despite the challenges.”
Originally planned as part of the annual Kiddies Funfair Party at the Council Secretariat, the event was restructured due to safety concerns following a stampede earlier in the festive period.
To ensure accessibility and security, gifts were delivered directly to 13 schools in the LCDA, including:
- AUD Primary School, Odo-Egiri

- UPE Primary School, Iraye-Oke
- Pobo Community Primary School, Poka
- LG Primary School, Noforija, and more.
The pupils were visibly delighted, with many expressing their gratitude.
A pupil from UPE Primary School, Imokun, shared, “This is the best Christmas ever. I feel happy and loved. Thank you to everyone who made this happen!”
Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, in his remarks, reassured his dedication to the welfare of children in Eredo.
