In a statement, the Ministry said all applications for credential authentication and evaluation will now be processed strictly online through its official verification portal.
Applicants seeking these services are required to register and upload relevant documents via the platform.
The Ministry also directed applicants to request their academic transcripts from their respective institutions, noting that such documents must be sent directly from official institutional email addresses to the Ministry for proper verification.
It stressed that applicants are no longer required to visit its offices, as the entire process has been digitised.

According to the Ministry, the new system is expected to simplify procedures, reduce processing time, and enhance the credibility and integrity of academic credential verification in Nigeria.
The development, it added, will also support better data management and evidence-based decision-making within the education sector.
Applicants were advised to comply strictly with the new guidelines to ensure smooth and timely processing of their requests. For further enquiries, the Ministry provided [email protected] as a contact point
