‘God Healed Me’ – Doyin Okupe Shares Testimony of Surviving Cancer Twice
Doyin Okupe, former Director-General of the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign, has shared his remarkable story of being healed from cancer twice, crediting God for his recovery.
In a testimony video shared on X.com on Sunday, Okupe recounted his battle with cancer, revealing that he is now completely free after being diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago.

He posted, “It was an awesome Thanksgiving service at The Citizen’s Church today. To the glory of God, I had an opportunity again to witness to the loving kindness and mercy of God in my life. I give all glory to God, Jehovah Raphi, who healeth me.”
Okupe described his journey, stating, “This is my second encounter with cancer. I had prostate cancer, a major men’s killer, 16 years ago. Today, I am completely free of cancer. There’s nothing on this earth, not even the threat of death, that can shake my faith in the power of Jesus’ blood.”

Encouraging Christians to strengthen their faith, Okupe emphasized the importance of fully believing in the Bible. He added, “Our greatest problem is fear. As Christians, beyond dancing, praising, and worshipping, we must embrace the Bible wholeheartedly, with unshakeable belief. Trust the Bible 100,000 percent, and you will see its benefits.”
