Justice, who was married to Berry from 1993 to 1997, said the relationship started well but began to deteriorate after fame and lifestyle differences became more evident. According to him, the lack of connection and shared effort in their marriage was a major factor that pushed him to file for divorce.
The former MLB player noted that while Berry was talented and beautiful, he felt she was emotionally unavailable and not invested in sustaining the marriage. He claimed the Hollywood lifestyle added strain to their union, making it difficult to maintain normal family life.
Justice also addressed the long-standing rumors that surrounded their split, stressing that his decision was not based on infidelity but rather on incompatibility and unmet expectations in their home life. He said these differences were impossible to reconcile, leading to their eventual separation.

The divorce between Justice and Berry was finalized in 1997, and while the actress went on to have other high-profile relationships, Justice maintained a lower public profile, occasionally making media appearances to clear the air about their marriage.
Berry has not publicly responded to Justice’s latest remarks. However, the revelations have stirred renewed interest in their short-lived union, with fans and critics weighing in on the public discourse about celebrity marriages and the pressures they face.
