Gbemisola, the elder sister of controversial Nigerian musician Portable, has alleged that her brother is under a spiritual spell cast by a family member.
She made this claim in response to Portable’s ongoing legal troubles with the Ogun State government.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the singer was arraigned alongside nine associates before the Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court for allegedly assaulting officials from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. However, Portable remains at large.

Speaking from hiding, the singer pleaded for the release of his detained associates, claiming he was being set up by certain individuals. He also challenged authorities to provide video evidence of the alleged assault, warning that the frustration of the situation might drive him to take his own life.
In a viral video on X, Portable’s sister apologized for his actions, insisting that a family member named Akeem was spiritually manipulating him.
She said, “People of Nigeria, I greet you all. I’m Portable’s eldest sister, the first child of his mother. We are just three that our mother gave birth to.
