Raji thanked party members across Epe Federal Constituency, Lagos State, and at the national level for what he described as an “overwhelming show of love, solidarity and confidence” during the nomination process.
He said he was particularly moved by the turnout of supporters who came out despite short notice.
“I am sincerely humbled by the remarkable turnout of our revered leaders, elders, stakeholders, women, youths and party members who, despite the very short notice, came out enthusiastically to identify with this cause,” he said.

Raji acknowledged that the limited number of nominator spaces provided by INEC meant that many willing supporters could not append their signatures to the form, but reassured them that their absence on paper did not diminish their contributions.
“Your physical signature was not the true measure of your support. Your goodwill, loyalty and steadfast belief in our shared vision remain deeply appreciated and will never be taken for granted,” he said.
The submission of the forms brings to a close a period of intense speculation over the outcome of the primary, with the INEC nomination now formally confirming Raji as the APC’s candidate for Epe Federal Constituency.
Describing the submission of the forms as laying “every uncertainty to rest regarding the outcome of our party’s primary election,” the lawmaker used the statement to call for unity ahead of the 2027 contest.
“I call on every member of our party to embrace the spirit of reconciliation and togetherness. The APC remains one united family, bound together by our common desire to serve the good people of Epe Federal Constituency,” he said.
He also extended appreciation to the three aspirants who contested the primary against him, praising their conduct throughout the process.
“To my brothers and sisters who aspired alongside me, I extend my sincere appreciation for your maturity, sportsmanship and unwavering commitment to the ideals of our great party. There is no victor and there is no vanquished,” he said.
Looking ahead to the general election, Raji rallied the party faithful around a collective mission.
“The task before us is greater than any individual ambition. It is the task of preserving our unity, strengthening our party and working tirelessly for a resounding victory in 2027,” he said.

The submission of the INEC forms follows Raji’s landslide victory in the APC primary election held on Saturday, May 16, in which he polled 18,460 votes across 15 of the constituency’s 19 wards, comfortably outpacing his three challengers: Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area; Barrister Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye, a lawyer and serving National Population Commission federal commissioner; and Bakare Isiaka Adeyinka, popularly known as Eruobodo.
The depth of that victory reflects the strong trust his constituents have placed in him and the numerous transformative initiatives he has introduced since beginning his legislative journey a decade ago.
Raji, who is Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development, has facilitated the construction of over 42 classrooms, built new schools in underserved communities including Temu, Ilege, Owu-Ikosi, and Oko-Abe, commissioned an 81-computer ICT centre at Ogunmodede College, and delivered over 300 market stalls, solar street lights, and road rehabilitation projects across the constituency.
In April, a performance ranking by Lagos Reporters placed him second among all 24 Lagos members of the House of Representatives, with 12,450 points.
