- Wale Raji Epe scored 12,450 points in a 1,000-day assessment of all 24 Lagos federal lawmakers.
- The ranking was based on constituency engagement, public accessibility, community development impact, and verified resident feedback.
- Raji, seeking a record fourth term in 2027, already has strong stakeholder support behind his bid.
Hon. Wale Raji, the federal lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency, Epe, Lagos State, in the House of Representatives, has been ranked the second best-performing member of the National Assembly from Lagos State, according to a new assessment by Lagos-based media outfit, Lagos Reporters.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the ranking, which covered a 1,000-day period, placed Raji at 12,450 points, behind only Benson Adegoke of Ikorodu, who topped the list with 12,900 points.

Raji’s score puts him ahead of 22 other Lagos lawmakers, including Faleke Abiodun of Ikeja (12,050), Sesi Whingah of Badagry (11,700), and Alli Taofik of Mushin I (11,550).
At the bottom of the ranking is Thaddeus Atta of Eti-Osa, who scored 7,500 points.
Lagos Reporters said its assessment was based on four key parameters: constituency engagement, accessibility to the public, impact on community development, and verified feedback from residents.
The media outfit said its field operatives conducted on-ground inspections and cross-checks across all 24 constituencies in Lagos to arrive at the rankings.

It noted a worrying trend across several constituencies where lawmakers had become increasingly detached from constituents, directing resources to loyal political groups rather than the wider public.
Raji’s high placement in the ranking reflects what has become a consistent record of grassroots delivery in the Epe division.
In the current assembly term alone, he has built at least four new schools in underserved communities — at Temu, Ilege, Owu-Ikosi and Oko-Abe — as part of his stated commitment to expanding education access for underprivileged children.
His other projects include the construction of over 300 lock-up and open market stalls to support local commerce, rehabilitation of roads, installation of solar-powered street lights, and the construction of 42 classrooms across the constituency.
Beyond infrastructure, Raji has extended cooperative society loan grants to small business owners and provided food palliatives, agricultural tools, fertilizers, and cash support to farmers, while also running vocational training programmes and scholarship initiatives for youths.

He currently chairs the House Services Committee, a position that has bolstered his capacity to attract federal attention and resources to his constituency.
Raji’s performance has drawn commendation from notable figures. Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, once described his facilitated projects as “worthwhile and people-oriented,” while Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, personally inaugurated three of the schools built by the lawmaker in the constituency.
Now in his third term, Raji is set to make history again. The lawmaker is running for an unprecedented fourth term in 2027 and already enjoys strong support from critical stakeholders across Epe division, a show of confidence widely seen as an endorsement of his track record of quality representation.
Traditional rulers in the Lagos Ijebu area had, after his third-term victory in 2023, described his reelection as “an affirmation of the continued satisfaction of the people of Epe Federal Constituency in his service to them.”
