The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has expressed appreciation to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project.
Hon. Olowa made this known during his attendance at the stakeholders’ meeting on Section 2 of the project, which stretches from Eleko to Ode Omi.
Ekohotblog gathers that the meeting, which was informative and engaging, featured the Hon. Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, who provided updates on the project’s progress and other ongoing road developments across the country.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Olowa acknowledged the positive impact of the project on the local communities and businesses, noting that the strategic execution had minimized disruptions.
“I sincerely appreciate Mr. President, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Hon. Minister for their visionary leadership and effective implementation of this project.
It has not only enhanced connectivity but also mitigated the impact of large-scale construction on our people and businesses,” he stated.
He further assured the Minister of Lagos State’s support for President Tinubu’s administration, adding, “Lagos and the Southwest are solidly behind Mr. President, and we are committed to delivering votes to re-elect him in 2027.”
The meeting also provided an opportunity for Hon. Olowa to engage in fruitful discussions with Ms. Moremi Ojodu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement.
