Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Tobun made this known in Lagos on Wednesday while giving an account of his 2025 legislative stewardship and outlining his priorities for the final quarter of the year and beyond.
He stated that his representation remains firmly aligned with the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda, with a strong focus on grassroots development.
“My commitment has always been to people-oriented legislation, improved infrastructure, and sustainable youth empowerment that will positively impact lives at the grassroots,” Tobun said.
The lawmaker explained that his agenda was structured to complement the developmental initiatives of the Lagos State Government while addressing the peculiar needs of Epe Constituency I.
According to him, 2025 presented several challenges, including funding limitations, rising community demands, and infrastructural gaps.
“Despite these challenges, strategic engagement, collaboration with relevant agencies, and constant dialogue with my constituents helped us to make meaningful progress,” he noted.
Hon. Tobun highlighted key achievements recorded during the year, including road rehabilitation projects, renovation of public schools and health facilities, and the provision of empowerment tools for youths and artisans across the constituency.
He also disclosed that he sponsored and supported several bills aimed at strengthening social welfare, enhancing security, and promoting economic growth in Lagos State.
Reflecting on his legislative experience in 2025, the lawmaker said the lessons learned on the floor of the House had further shaped his approach to governance.
“The experience of consensus building, effective representation, and legislative diligence has strengthened my capacity to deliver better results for my people,” he said.
Looking ahead to 2026, Hon. Tobun unveiled plans to prioritise education, skills acquisition, support for small businesses, and community-based infrastructure development.
He assured constituents of sustained advocacy for policies that would directly improve their standard of living.
“My focus in 2026 will be on initiatives that empower our youths, strengthen education, support small businesses, and deliver infrastructure that meets the needs of our communities,” he stated.
He further emphasised his commitment to inclusive governance, noting that continuous engagement with youths, traditional rulers, and other critical stakeholders in Epe Constituency I would remain central to his representation.
Hon. Tobun concluded by reiterating that transparency, consultation, and collective effort are essential to achieving lasting development in Epe and across Lagos State.
