In the spirit of the Christmas season, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has distributed food items to staff of the Local Government as part of her administration’s commitment to staff welfare and compassionate leadership.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Christmas goodwill gesture was aimed at appreciating the dedication, resilience, and contributions of the workforce, while ensuring that staff members are able to celebrate the festive season with joy and comfort.

Speaking on the initiative, the Chairman described staff welfare as a critical pillar of effective governance.
“Our workers are the backbone of this administration. Supporting them, especially during a season that represents love and togetherness, is both a duty and a privilege,” she said.
She noted that her administration remains committed to a people-centred approach that prioritises the wellbeing and motivation of employees, stressing that a motivated workforce translates to better service delivery to residents of Epe Local Government.
Also speaking, some staff members expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and thoughtful.
“This gesture shows that our Chairman truly cares about our welfare. It has made this Christmas more meaningful for many of us,” a staff member said.
The distribution exercise was conducted in a warm and orderly atmosphere and further strengthened the bond between the administration and its workforce, reinforcing a culture of unity, care, and mutual respect within the Local Government system.
The initiative adds to a series of welfare-driven programmes under the leadership of Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, reflecting her commitment to inclusive governance and shared prosperity in Epe Local Government.
