The town of Epe is set to benefit from a major cultural and educational project as work continues on the Epe Museum and Library.

Hon. Tolani Hassan, the Special Adviser on Youth, Sport, and Tourism, has expressed excitement about the project, calling it a great move for the people of Epe.
He said the Museum and Library will help keep Epe’s culture alive and give residents, especially youths, a place to read, study, and explore their roots.
“This project is more than just a building. It is a way of keeping our history, our values, and our culture alive,” Hon. Hassan said.
“It will remind us of where we come from and help our young people find pride in their identity.”
According to him, the Museum will display the traditions, customs, and past events that shaped Epe, while the Library will provide students and researchers with access to books and useful learning tools.
He added that the project will inspire young people to love learning and gain the skills they need for success.
“This Library will open doors for our children. It will be a place where they can read, learn, and prepare for a bright future,” he added.
Hon. Hassan praised Princess Surah Animashaun for her leadership and vision, saying she has shown great care for the community by initiating projects that truly matter.
“Princess Surah Animashaun has always put the people first. This project shows that she thinks about the future and wants the best for Epe. She deserves our support,” he said.
