FIFA President Gianni Infantino has expressed deep concern over the alleged racist incident that occurred during the Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Benfica.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the European football’s governing body, UEFA, has opened a formal investigation following allegations by Vinicius Junior that Benfica’s Gianluca Prestianni directed racist remarks at him during the match.

The fixture, part of the UEFA Champions League, was temporarily halted for approximately 10 minutes by referee Francois Letexier.
