EKO HOT BLOG reports that Paul survived six rounds but failed to beat the count after absorbing a series of heavy knockdowns as Joshua’s superior power and experience proved decisive. The YouTuber turned boxer was floored twice across the fifth and sixth rounds before the referee waved off the contest.
Speaking shortly after the fight, Paul admitted he feared he had suffered a serious injury, revealing that his jaw was “definitely” broken. The 28 year old later missed the scheduled post fight press conference, with his promotional team confirming that he had been taken to hospital for medical evaluation.
Most Valuable Promotions chief executive officer, Nakisa Bidarian, said Paul travelled to the hospital on his own and was in stable condition.
“We think he broke his jaw. But he’s fine,” Bidarian said. “He took a shower and drove himself to the hospital. A broken jaw is very common in combat sports. Recovery usually takes between four and six weeks.”

Paul entered the contest as a clear underdog and attempted to counter Joshua’s size and strength with movement and speed. However, the difference in natural weight, ring experience and punching power became increasingly evident, prompting criticism in some quarters over the mismatch.
For Joshua, the victory marked a dominant display and a reminder of his enduring heavyweight pedigree.
