A Court has stopped INEC from engaging MC Oluomo in the distribution of the 2023 election materials.

Objecting to INEC’s plan to use MC Oluomo, the Labour Party characterized the transport union leader as “openly partisan.”

Monday’s ruling has resulted in the fulfilment of the Labour Party’s request.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Federal High Court has issued an order prohibiting the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from enlisting the assistance of Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, the chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, to deliver election materials in the state.
MC Oluomo is a staunch supporter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential flag-bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to them, any association of INEC with any platform under the control of MC Oluomo is a big risk.
