Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State is in stable condition and has been discharged from the hospital following a minor road accident on Sunday evening along the Daura highway.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the incident occurred while the governor was returning from an official engagement in Daura, where he had gone to carry out state duties. He reportedly sustained minor injuries and was immediately taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Daura for treatment.
Confirming the development, the state government assured the public that the governor is in good health, adding that he sustained no serious injuries and is responding well to treatment.
A former Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media to the governor and current Chairman of Katsina Local Government Area, Isah Miqdad, also provided updates on the governor’s condition through his official 𝕏 handle.
“I saw oga few minutes ago and he is currently in a stable condition, undergoing medical treatment at this time. Put him in your prayers,” Miqdad wrote.
Shortly after, Miqdad confirmed that the governor had been discharged from the hospital. “Alhamdulillah!!! His Excellency has been discharged from the hospital,” he posted.
The government has called for continued prayers for the governor as he recovers from the incident.
