Popular Nollywood actress, Kemisola Apesin, widely known as Kemity or Sidi, has dismissed allegations that she traded sex for movie roles in the film industry.
Eko Hot Blog reports that her reaction followed her involvement in the ongoing dispute between her employer, actor Itele, and fellow actor Austin Emmanuel.

The controversy began after Austin Emmanuel, who has been largely absent from the screen in recent years, publicly accused Itele of turning his back on him during a difficult period in his life.
Austin alleged that despite their long-standing relationship, Itele failed to stand by him when he experienced a career setback.
In response, Itele denied ever having a close friendship with Austin, maintaining that he was already an established producer before their paths crossed.
Austin, angered by the claim, countered that a senior colleague, Don Richard, had introduced Itele to him at the height of his own success, before his eventual decline in the industry.
Kemity later stepped into the heated exchange, cautioning Austin against attacking her boss and warning that she could reveal sensitive information if the situation continued.
Her comments, however, sparked backlash from Austin’s supporters within the industry. Some individuals who claimed to have witnessed Itele’s association with Austin in the past criticised Kemity and accused her of engaging in inappropriate relationships to secure acting roles.
They also threatened to disclose additional secrets if she continued to involve herself in the dispute.
After maintaining silence for days, Kemity finally addressed the accusations on Friday through her Instagram page. She firmly denied ever exchanging sexual favours for professional opportunities.
In her statement, she stressed that she has never used her body to secure roles in any film and urged the public not to be misled by online rumours or social media speculation.
