In a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, NIDCOM Chairperson, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, described the incident as tragic and senseless, while extending condolences to the family of the deceased.
The statement, signed by the commission’s Director of Media, Public Relations and Protocol, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, said NIDCOM has formally called on Indian authorities to carry out a thorough and transparent investigation to ensure justice is served.
