The attacks, confirmed by the Borno State Police Command, claimed 23 lives and left over 100 people hospitalized.
Kwankwaso noted that this resurgence of violence is a major setback for the North-East, where residents have struggled to return to normalcy after years of conflict.

He emphasized that the “senseless terrorism” witnessed this week cannot be tolerated and signals a dangerous trend that requires immediate and forceful government intervention.
“Now is not the time for defensiveness or complacency,” Kwankwaso stated, urging both the Federal and State governments to provide the Nigerian military with every resource required to take decisive action.
