- Lagos 2027: Jandor Boasts of Experience, Dismisses Advantage of Seyi Tinubu, Ambode, Others
- Argues that Seyi lacks the political experience he has
- He added that his experience of contesting in 2023 without political backing sets him apart from the rest
The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has said that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, is qualified to contest the 2027 governorship election, Eko Hot Blog reports.
Jandor, however, argued that Seyi lacks the political experience he has, noting that the president’s son has never appeared on the ballot.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Jandor was asked if he stands a chance against potential contenders, including Seyi Tinubu, former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and Senator Tokunbo Abiru.
“All the names that you mentioned are qualified to be governor of Lagos, including Seyi himself. But none of them, aside from the former governor you mentioned, has ever been on the ballot as governorship candidate aside from myself,” Jandor said.
He added that his experience of contesting in 2023 without political backing sets him apart from the rest.

“I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing,” Jandor stressed.
