Lagos Man In Firm Grips Of The Law For Allegedly Defiling Neighbour’s Daughter
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), in collaboration with the Lagos State Police Command, has arraigned one Mr. Ife Adekoya for allegedly defiling a 12-year-od daughter of his neighbour at Imota area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
Speaking on the incident on Thursday, the Executive Secretary of DSVA, Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi said the agency acted after receiving a report from the mother of the victim that her daughter was defiled by her neighbour on June 16, 2023.

According to the mother, ” the alleged perpetrator lured her daughter to the bush and covered her mouth and proceeded to sexually assault her by penetration.”
Vivour-Adeniyi disclosed further that the case was immediately lodged at the Imota Family Support Unit Police Station for investigation and was subsequently transferred to the Gender Desk Department of the Lagos State Police Command.
“The matter was later charged to Court and the perpetrator was arraigned before Magistrate Amope Layinka on the 26th of July, 2023,” she added.
“He has since been remanded at Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison pending the Directorate of Public Prosecution’s legal advice while the matter was adjourned to September 19, 2023.”
The anti-violence agency’s Executive Secretary reiterated that all forms of abuse, neglect, domestic and sexual violence are crimes against the State and perpetrators would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
