The programme seeks to equip the teachers with essential skills and knowledge to help them succeed in their roles.
In a related development, no fewer than 2,000 pupils from 20 local councils in Lagos State took part in the first stage of the SweetThinkers Initiative Academic Excellence Award. The competition aims to identify and support high-achieving pupils in government-owned primary schools.
Nnena Chinedu, a representative of SweetThinkers Media and PR, said the initiative was designed to showcase the potential of public school students when given the right resources and encouragement.

The assessment consisted of 100 questions to be completed in 30 minutes, testing not only knowledge but time management as well. Adinji Abidemi Monsurat, Desk Officer at the Ikeja Local Government Education Authority, praised the competition as well-coordinated and timely.
She noted that many academic initiatives tend to focus on private schools and applauded SweetThinkers for prioritising public school pupils.
