The Lagos State Council Chairmen’s Wives Association (LASCCWA), under the leadership of its President, Dr. Mrs. Kehinde Olushola Razaq Ajala, today convened in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government for its monthly meeting and empowerment programme.
Ekohotblog reports that the event was co-hosted by the Chairpersons of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lekki Local Council Development Area, Mrs. Jemila Olowa and Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, and witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and beneficiaries.

In his welcome remarks, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, praised the wives of council chairmen for their consistent support and dedication to community development.
“You are the salt of the earth. Your prayers, commitment, and passion continue to energize us as leaders. Your organizational strength proves that even the third tier of government has powerful women driving meaningful change,” he said.
He further described them as “The Rock of Gibraltar” whose presence and impact have made the job of governance easier for their husbands.
Also speaking at the event, the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, appreciated the association and acknowledged their efforts in supporting developmental initiatives.
“It is heartwarming to witness such unity among the chairpersons. Your efforts are not just complementary but transformative. I pray for greater success in all your endeavors,” he stated.
As part of the programme’s highlights, members of LASCCWA empowered selected residents of Ibeju-Lekki LGA and Lekki LCDA with items such as grinding machines, sewing machines, makeup kits, and cash support. The gesture was received with gratitude and joy by beneficiaries.
President of the association, Dr. Mrs. Kehinde Olushola Razaq Ajala, reiterated LASCCWA’s commitment to supporting women, children, and the overall well-being of grassroots communities.
