Eko Hot Blog reports that as part of this commitment, LASUBEB organised a training programme for 420 teachers, equipping them with modern teaching techniques and innovative instructional strategies required to meet the demands of 21st-century classrooms.
The training was designed to enhance teachers’ professional competence by exposing them to learner-centred teaching approaches, technology-driven instruction, classroom management, and other global best practices aimed at improving teaching effectiveness and pupils’ academic performance.
Speaking on the initiative, Dr. Shittu said investing in teachers remains one of the most effective ways to improve learning outcomes and prepare pupils for the challenges of an ever-evolving world.
“Our goal is to empower teachers with the knowledge, skills, and innovative approaches needed to deliver quality education. When teachers are well-equipped, our pupils benefit, and the entire education system becomes stronger,” he said.
