As part of ongoing follow-up efforts to establish functional libraries in public primary schools across Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), RCM Primary School, Olomowewe, has emerged as one of the beneficiaries of the initiative approved by the Executive Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE).
Eko Hot Blog reports that the school has been provided with a newly set-up library space designed to improve pupils’ access to books and essential learning materials, while promoting a strong reading culture among learners.
Speaking on the initiative, Kasali reiterated his administration’s commitment to strengthening basic education and improving learning outcomes across the council area.
“This initiative is aimed at encouraging reading habits among our pupils and ensuring they have access to the learning resources needed to excel academically,” he said.
With the inclusion of RCM Primary School, Olomowewe, the programme continues to record steady progress, as eight public primary schools are currently benefiting under the ongoing phase of the library establishment project.
The initiative forms part of the Lekki LCDA administration’s broader efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and support quality education at the grassroots level.
Other beneficiary schools are expected to be showcased in subsequent reports as the programme progresses.
