EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ahmad gave the advice in a post shared on his verified X handle on Monday while reacting to reports that some candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State were replaced.
According to Ahmad, Kwankwaso should not remain in a political party where he feels constrained or sidelined.
He argued that the former Kano State governor would be better served pursuing his political ambitions on a platform that aligns with his goals and gives him the freedom to compete on his own terms.
“If Sen Rabiu Kwankwaso genuinely believes that he has been treated unfairly by the national leadership of the NDC, then the most appropriate course of action would be to leave the party and pursue his political ambition on another platform.

Former aide says Kwankwaso should seek a suitable platform
“Rather than remain in a party where he feels constrained or marginalised, he should seek a platform that aligns with his aspirations and allows him to compete on his own terms,” Ahmad wrote.
