On the directive of the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), community engagements have been held across various wards in the council area to sensitise residents on the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine and support the ongoing immunisation exercise.

Community leaders at the meetings expressed their commitment to the success of the campaign and pledged full cooperation with health authorities to ensure that children within their communities are adequately covered.
The initiative was aimed at boosting awareness, strengthening community trust, and ensuring the smooth and effective implementation of the Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign across Lekki LCDA.
“Community engagement is key to the success of this vaccination exercise, and we appreciate the cooperation of our leaders and residents,” a health official said.
