EKO HOT BLOG reports that the lawsuit follows claims she made during a February 2025 interview on ARISE Television, where she accused Akpabio of s3xually harassing her. She recounted an incident from December 8, 2023, when she and her husband visited Akpabio’s home in Uyo. During the visit, she alleged that the Senate President held her hand, led her around the house, and made inappropriate advances toward her in her husband’s presence.
In a post shared on her Instagram page on Friday, Natasha said she was pleased that Akpabio had filed a fresh suit. She argued that the move gives her an opportunity to state her case fully, especially after the Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges declined to grant her an audience.
She said the committee refused to hear her complaint because Akpabio’s wife had previously filed a related defamation suit, leading them to claim that the matter was already before the court. Natasha noted that Senate rules still required her to present her petition to the Ethics Committee, which she said had earlier recommended her “illegal suspension.”

She wrote that she now looks forward to proving her allegations and showing how her refusal to comply with Akpabio’s alleged demands resulted in “unprovoked and unprecedented attacks” against her.
She added, “See you in court Godswill Akpabio.”
