NECO Expands Reach, Accredits Schools in Niger Republic, Equatorial Guinea for SSCE, BECE
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the accreditation of additional foreign schools as part of its ongoing efforts to expand its global presence.
In a statement released on Saturday by NECO’s Acting Director of Public Relations, Azeez Sanni, the newly accredited schools are located in Niger Republic and Equatorial Guinea. This expansion follows the accreditation of several centers in Niger Republic last year, which allowed Nigerian students in the Francophone country to participate in NECO exams.

The newly accredited schools, along with existing centers, are located in Niger Republic and Equatorial Guinea. NECO’s accreditation team visited these schools to assess their readiness to conduct the exams, inspecting various facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, computer labs, workshops, examination halls, and sports facilities.
After a comprehensive evaluation, the schools were granted full accreditation for both SSCE and BECE.
