The Ekiti State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of four suspects in connection with the disappearance of a newborn baby.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the baby was born at 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, but was allegedly stolen the following morning from the Okeyimi Health Centre in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

According to an eyewitness, the disappearance was discovered when nurses on duty attempted to care for the child but found her missing.
In response, hospital staff and security personnel were taken to the police station for questioning, sparking panic among the baby’s mother and those present at the facility.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abutu Sunday, stated that the Commissioner of Police has directed the State Criminal Investigation Department to launch a full investigation and ensure the baby is safely recovered.
He added that four individuals have been arrested and are currently providing credible information to assist the investigation.
