NYCN Epe Organizes Blood Donation Drive to Save Life

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Branch, organized a blood donation drive at General Hospital, Epe, on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Ekohotblog reports that many young people participated, and willingly donated blood to help save lives.

The donation drive aimed to support patients in need of blood transfusions and strengthen the healthcare system.
With the help of medical professionals, volunteers, and community leaders, the event was well-organized to ensure a safe and smooth process.
Speaking at the event, the NYCN Epe coordinator com Moibi Ibrahim encouraged young people to take part in activities that benefit the community.
“Donating blood is a simple act of kindness that can save lives. We are proud of the youths who came out today.
This shows that we care about our community and are willing to help in any way we can,” he said.
A senior medical officer at General Hospital, Epe, praised the NYCN for the initiative.
“This donation will go a long way in helping patients who need blood transfusions. We encourage more people to donate blood regularly because it can save lives,” he said.
Many of the donors expressed happiness about being part of the event. One of them said, “This is my first time of donating blood, and I feel great knowing that my blood can help someone in need.”
