The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has welcomed his wife, Olori Ashley Ogunwusi, and their son, Prince Ademakinwa, to the palace in Ife, Osun State, after five months.
A grand homecoming ceremony was held on Friday, attended by traditional rulers, dignitaries, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate their arrival.

Prince Ademakinwa was born on September 3, 2024, at Princess Royal Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
The Ooni had earlier announced the birth on Instagram, expressing joy over the prince’s lineage, which ties together two royal houses of Oduduwa.
Olori Ashley recently shared her emotional journey, revealing that she suffered a miscarriage of twins at 14 weeks in 2023.

She described the experience as difficult but expressed gratitude to God for blessing them with a son, whom she called a “Crown Prince from both sides of his parents.”
The Ooni married Olori Ashley as his fourth wife in October 2022, and their relationship has spanned over a decade.
The palace celebration marks a significant moment in the royal family, as Prince Ademakinwa is warmly received as a new heir to the throne.
