EKO HOT BLOG reports that Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring in the 19th minute following a smooth team move involving Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Vitinha doubled PSG’s lead just before halftime, capitalizing on a counterattack sparked by Antoine Griezmann’s rare attempt on goal. Atletico, visibly struggling under pressure, picked up several bookings in the first half, including a second yellow and red card for Clement Lenglet in the 78th minute.
Atletico thought they had pulled one back early in the second half through Julian Alvarez, but VAR cancelled the goal due to a foul by Rodrigo De Paul in the buildup. Despite playing with more urgency, Atletico failed to register a single shot on target for the rest of the match.
Substitute Senny Mayulu made it 3–0 in the 87th minute, pouncing on a defensive error. The rout was completed in stoppage time when Lee Kang-In converted a penalty after a handball by Robin Le Normand.

PSG’s attacking dominance and sharp finishing highlighted their intentions to add the Club World Cup to their trophy haul. They face Botafogo next in Pasadena on Thursday, followed by a group clash with Seattle Sounders on June 23.
