Speaking to journalists at the First Epe Central Mosque, Oke Balogun, on Friday, March 14, 2025, High Chief Odedeogboro emphasized that Ramadan is a time for spiritual renewal, urging Muslims to embrace the period with sincerity and devotion.

“I want to appreciate Almighty Allah for giving us the grace to witness this Ramadan, which is a sacred month for Muslims.

I also congratulate all Islamic faithful for being part of this year’s fast. My advice to them is to use this opportunity to seek God’s face, ask for forgiveness of all sins, and truly forsake them,” he stated.

Beyond personal supplication, he called on Muslims to remember those in government in their prayers, stressing that leaders need divine guidance to make decisions that will positively impact the people.

“Government at all levels should help reduce the hardship in the land. While everyone should remember those in positions of authority in their prayers, so they will do the needful,” he added.

The Balogun also encouraged well-meaning individuals to extend kindness to the less privileged during the fasting period, emphasizing that acts of charity are central to the spirit of Ramadan.
