Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended warm congratulations to the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 64th birthday.
He praised her as a compassionate and kind-hearted woman, noting her unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted Senator Tinubu’s impactful leadership, both in her private life and public service.
He acknowledged her significant contributions to the lives of many Nigerians, particularly women, since she became the First Lady of Nigeria on May 29, 2023.
“On behalf of the government and people of Lagos State, and my dear wife, Ibijoke, I heartily congratulate Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of our leader and President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on the occasion of her 64th birthday,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He continued by emphasizing Senator Tinubu’s enduring commitment to public service, recognizing her as an advocate for social justice and a champion for the voiceless.

Sanwo-Olu noted her contributions as a former First Lady of Lagos State, a three-term Senator, and now as the First Lady of Nigeria.
“Senator Oluremi Tinubu has shown her passion for the needy in our country, especially women and children, through several pet projects and empowerment programs she initiated during her tenure as First Lady of Lagos State and a member of the Senate,” Sanwo-Olu remarked.
He also commended her ongoing efforts as the President’s wife, highlighting initiatives like the Renewed Hope Initiative, which have provided relief to countless families across the nation.
Sanwo-Olu concluded by expressing pride in Senator Tinubu’s achievements and prayed for her continued strength and good health as she continues to serve Nigeria.
“Senator Oluremi Tinubu is a great ambassador of our dear Lagos State. She has played critical roles in the growth and development of the State and Nigeria. We are proud of her achievements at the state and national levels.
On this occasion of her 64th birthday, I pray for God’s continued guidance and good health for Senator Oluremi Tinubu. God will give her the strength to render more service to humanity and our dear country, Nigeria.”
