The event, held in the spirit of the holy month, provided an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and renewed commitment to faith, unity, and community development.
In his address, Senator Abiru emphasized the essence of Ramadan as a sacred season of devotion, sacrifice, and compassion toward one another.
“Ramadan is a time for deep reflection, renewed faith, and a collective commitment to building a more united and morally conscious society,” he stated.
He encouraged residents to embrace the lessons of patience, discipline, and generosity beyond the holy month, noting that sustainable progress begins with personal transformation and community harmony.
“We must allow the values of Ramadan to guide our actions, strengthen our unity, and inspire us to work together for the peace and progress of our communities,” the Senator added.
Among dignitaries present at the lecture was the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Surah Olayemi Animashaun, who commended Senator Abiru for his consistent efforts in fostering initiatives that promote spiritual growth and social cohesion across Lagos East.
The gathering reinforced Senator Abiru’s commitment to people-centered leadership, combining legislative service with initiatives that nurture moral values and communal harmony.
