- Silva praised Arsenal’s depth with stars like Gyökeres and Saka.
Fulham manager Marco Silva has dismissed talk of an injury crisis at Arsenal ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash between both sides.
Ekohotblog reports that Silva praised Mikel Arteta’s squad depth despite the absences of Noni Madueke, Martin Ødegaard, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus.

The Fulham Boss brushed off questions about Arsenal’s injury troubles, shifting attention to Fulham’s setbacks and the gap in resources between the two clubs.
Fulham will be without both first-choice strikers, Rodrigo Muniz and Raul Jimenez, with Silva describing it as “probably the worst” injury spell since taking charge at Craven Cottage.
He compared Fulham’s situation to Arsenal’s, noting that despite missing Havertz and Jesus, the Gunners can still rely on £75m signing Viktor Gyökeres one of Europe’s top forwards.
The Tactician further highlighted that even without Madueke and Ødegaard, Arteta still has quality options like Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka.
“They don’t have Madueke, they have Saka not bad at all. The other one, Havertz? They have Gyökeres who cost £75 million. It’s pointless to compare.”
“They have Eze, who’s not bad either. You just have to move on.” He stated.

Silva recounted that arsenal had similar issues last season and learnt from it.
“They went through similar challenges last season with Havertz and Jesus, learned from it, and strengthened. Even now, they have the quality to cope. Every team faces tough spells, but they’ve shown the structure to maintain their level.” He concluded.
