Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi, the youngest son of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Akindayomi, has passed away at the age of 63.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that he died on Sunday, November 2, following a tragic domestic accident at his residence in the RCCG Camp.

According to sources close to the family, Pastor Ifeoluwa had gone for a prayer walk early that morning and returned home to prepare for Sunday service.
It was during this time that he tragically missed his step and fell headlong, striking his head on a sharp object in his house. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries from the fall before help could arrive.
A close family friend shared their shock at the sudden nature of his passing, noting that just the day before, he had served as the chairman of a wedding ceremony, appearing in good health with no signs of illness.
“He looked very okay, and had no indication of any sickness,” the source said. “For him to have been so active the day before his death was a clear sign he was in good health. But the unexpected happened.”
This loss comes just seven months after the death of his elder brother, Pastor Kolade Akindayomi, who passed away on May 4 of this year. It also marks the passing of Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi about 45 years after the death of his father, Pa Josiah Akindayomi, who founded the RCCG.
At the time of his death, Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi held the position of Assistant Provincial Pastor of Ogun Province 5 within the RCCG. His sudden demise has left the RCCG community and his family in deep mourning.
