Singer Speed Darlington has told those who are tired of supporting him to “get lost.”
His statement came just hours after he parted ways with his lawyer, Stanley Alieke.

The split follows Darlington’s release from prolonged detention by the Nigerian police, where he was held for allegedly cyberstalking fellow artist Burna Boy.

In a viral Instagram video, the singer lashed out at critics advising him to drop his feud with Burna, insisting he will continue to do things his way.
“I’m on my way to the studio for more music. My life is my content. Let nobody tell me what to post. If you are tired of supporting, get lost. And let my God guide me,” he said.
He also dismissed claims that he owes his supporters anything, adding, “Support, support—how many of you spend money? I spend my own money, so shut up. Let me do what I want and keep your advice to yourself. I have been there and done that; the fear is not the same.”
Throwing shade at Burna Boy, he captioned the video: “Always singing about police brutality in Nigeria, yet he hires police to hold me longer. And this is only what you can say? Leave him and move on.”

EKO HOT BLOG recalls that Darlington was arrested twice in October and November 2024 after mocking Burna Boy’s alleged ties to American rapper Diddy. He previously claimed Burna’s 2021 Grammy win was linked to Diddy.
In October 2024, he released a diss track, Baby Oil, targeting Burna Boy and Diddy, which gained traction on Spotify Nigeria. Since his second release from Kuje prison, he has subtly featured the song in much of his content.
Addressing his fans after his release, Darlington declared, “I went to gather energy and launch back with a banger!”
