President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met with the 36 state coordinators of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in a gathering that brought together top figures of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Also present at the meeting were Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and other senior party leaders.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative was established by the President on November 25, 2025, with Governor Hope Uzodimma appointed to lead the programme. The initiative is aimed at promoting the administration’s policies and mobilising grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking earlier on Thursday, Tinubu declared his readiness to seek re election in 2027, affirming his administration’s commitment to tackling key national challenges.
He said he remains determined to “break the shackles of ignorance and poverty, put freedom in the hearts of Nigerians and ensure democracy survives.”
The President also criticised opposition parties, stating that his leadership would offer Nigerians a distinct alternative.
According to him, his administration intends to provide something different from what he described as the “rascality or noise making of a street convention.”
Tinubu stressed the importance of upholding democratic principles, including the separation of powers and respect for judicial decisions, even when such rulings may not favour certain interests.
Addressing growing political activities ahead of the next election cycle, the President said he would not be intimidated by opposition figures.
He noted that his political experience gives him a clear understanding of the tactics used by rivals.
Tinubu said he “can’t be intimidated by the antics of opposition parties and politicians,” adding that he had once been in their position and understands “the game.”
The meeting with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors is seen as part of ongoing efforts by the administration and the ruling party to consolidate support and strengthen political structures ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
